Making a massage oil blends with essential oil is very easy for aromatic & therapeutic uses, and today we will show you some basic recipes that you can do at home!
Decide what essential oils to use
First, you start by deciding what essential oils you want to use depending on the type of massage oil you would like to make and type of effect you are looking to get out of your essential oil blend.
What do I need to make a Massage Blends with Essential oil?
Begin by choosing what carrier oil, lotion or gel that you would like to use for your blend.
Then add 9 to 15 drops of essential oils. We follow the 3 2 1 method of starting with the 9-15 drops of top note essential oils. 6-10 drops of middle note essential oils. 3-5 drops of base note essential oils.
Then you add your carrier oil, lotion, or gel to your bottle then add your essential oils one by one starting with your base, middle and then top note. The reason why we put essential oils in that order is to start with the most substantial oil first that will last the longest within the blend, and we don’t want to put too much in there, or it will overpower the mix.
Shake up your blend after you are all done, mixing the essential oils and like what you smell. Just add a label after you are all done to make sure you know what that blend is for after you are done and the date of when it was made.
